Concert History: A list of all the concerts I’ve attended.
I tried my best to remember all the past performances I’ve seen, but maybe I might have missed some. I’ll update this page throughout the year.
I started attending live music performances in my twenties, with my concert attendance peaking between 2022 and 2023. When I worked in DTLA it was easy for me to attend shows as most of the venues I visited were located in the city and I would go after work. During this time I had a few friends that also worked downtown; going to concerts used to be more of an occasion because we’d carpool, get dinner, and hangout.
After changing jobs twice, I now work farther from downtown, so I take more time to consider whether I want to attend a live performance. I need to factor in ticket price, commute (LA afternoon traffic from the westside is terrible lmfao), and my work schedule for the next day since most performances happen on a weekday. Over the past few years, most of my music preferences don’t overlap with my friends. Which makes me think a bit harder on whether I enjoy the artist or their current project enough to attend a concert solo. Not that I can’t go by myself, but speaking honestly I enjoy discussing the concert experience at the end of the night with whoever I’m with. Plus as a woman I need to consider my safety too.
Making this list made me laugh, I’ve seen Carly Rae Jepsen and Japanese Breakfast more times than I realized. Pop is one of my favorite genres and it’s evident in this list. I’ve only gone to three concerts outside of California, that being Colorado and New York.
As of Jan 2026, I don’t know how many concerts I’ll be going to this year. Usually I attend fall tours more over spring tours/festival season. Generally, this year I’d like to experience more metal, punk, industrial (rock, techno, or metal adjacent), jazz, and orchestral performances. At the moment, I plan to attend three concerts and possibly one festival.
Main headliners listed, I noted their supporting act if it made an impression on me.
